The big info is that Neil left the show because his cousin, Catalina Garcia, tragically got shot and killed at Northern Illinois University & the season will end in April. So we will probably get a double eviction soon.

I can't believe I didn't connect Neil Garcia to his cousin Catalina Garcia who was tragically killed at NIU along with four others. I just graduated from NIU and love Big Brother.

No. I was supposed to go out there the next day. I have many friends who still go there that were around it and I have had class and finals in the auditorium that it happened in.
I cant fathom the terror they saw that day.
It just saddens me.

Neil left the house on the evening of the 13th. The shootings occurred on the 14th. Amanda is lying.

So the whole story came down to a comment a poster had added, and it blew up into this whole thing?
Amazing how one little comment in parenthesis caused all of this.

I used to check them daily, until I discovered most of them were full of shit. (including the mods)
Yes I did it. But please understand that at the time it was relayed that way in the chat with amanda. Everyone I talked to that was there took the information the same way. thankfully the bad info was cleared up immediately in the forum and we all moved on.
I was typing an update post on the chat and trying like heck to keep up. However, If you were there and didnt have the exact dates of shooting (one day apart so cut me some slack pls)you would have taken it the same way im sure. Honestly I thought neil left on valentines day. I wasnt paying much attention to BB at the time so was off "one" day. sorry!
just hope that neil and fam are doing ok.

I would rather someone make an error than to start something like that on purpose. As I am sure you know, people start shit all of the time.
Some people even go as far as to make up Houseguest names and Bio's trying to make us think that they have some insight into the Show.

Hey, we all make mistakes, but I do want to point out that there was NEVER a clarification posted at Jokers regarding the post, nor was the post edited in any form. I kept watching it to be sure. It has been deleted now...but it was never corrected. It's a shame that the overbearing mods at Joker's just deleted the whole thing...there was some good stuff in there. All they (or the original poster) had to do was go and edit one line of text.... but nope, nobody did that. My rant isn't so much about the one poster but the ridiculous shit that comes out of Joker's in general... this was just a great example because it was picked up by several people before being squashed like a bug. Sadly, enough though... there are still a lot of people out there who actually believe that story still.
I havent had any bad experiences with Jokers other than a few rude people.
All Big Brother sites find their niche. They attract people that fit the attitude and overall sense of each site.
I am eternally grateful that we have great people coming here.
I would hope that is a reflection on us.

Yes the other post was deleted and they beat me to it. however that happened I am grateful. Nothing worse than bad info running rampant in the reality world. (like usually does)
And yes Dr. I do remember more than once fake bios and spoilers on casts. Arrgh! I now just wait for the premiere show to see for myself . At least one show during the season is a surprise for me. LOL
Thanks again and glad I happened upon this board and was allowed to clear that up.
Now lets cheer to hopefully a better BB10 summer season than this train wreck.
